By road Berwick-upon-Tweed is located 3 miles south of the Scottish border, 65miles north of Newcastle-upon-Tyne and 60 miles south-east of Edinburgh. Turn off the A1 at the Berwick bypass on to the A1167.
By rail Berwick Barracks is approximately 10 mins walk from the railway station serving a regular service on the east coast main line. Berwick Museum is located within Berwick Barracks.
